About Dr. Lu of Authentic Chinese Acupuncture

Dr. Xin Lu of Authentic Chinese Acupuncture is a trained medical doctor who practices Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) including acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping and moxa. Dr.Lu began her study of TCM in 1981 after receiving her MD from Norman Bethune University of Medical Sciences in Changchun, China.

Dr. Lu studied TCM at the prestigious China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Beijing and later became a lecturer there. After coming to North America, she obtained her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from McGill University. Dr. Lu is presently working as an independent consultat in neuroscience following a career in leading edge research at Dalhousie University in Halifax.
